To experience life in all its fullness, our church focusses on Biblical Christ-Centred teaching that is applicable and useful in everyday life. Our meetings are interactive, where questions, comments or personal anecdotes are encouraged. We follow the ‘Simple Church’ model where we gather in small groups and share life together, including worship, Bible teaching, prayer and ministry. We aim to engage in Scripture in a challenging and exciting way. Our meetings always end with celebration around food!
Our belief is that each person adds to the overall expression of who we are, and we celebrate the company of everyone. In Mt Cotton Community Fellowship we don’t see children and youth as the church of tomorrow – we know they are a vital part of the church right now, and they are free to express their thoughts, opinions and questions just like everyone else.
In our small relational church groups, members are encouraged to share aspects of their daily lives so that we can celebrate, hope and even grieve together.
Celebration service
Our first Sunday meeting of the month is a combined celebration of our groups, young and old. We have a more traditional service with Communion and a sermon. Our Celebration Service is followed by a shared lunch where everyone is invited to stay on and build their friendships.
When and where does the church meet?
The church meetings are currently at 9am on a Sunday. We meet in various homes, so please call Ronwyn on 0434 552 955 to find out where the next meeting is on.
